‘WORDS IN THE GARDEN’

or if you prefer, Words for the Garden, these are stones into which I carve single words or short phrases

reflecting what I like to term ‘Universal Sentiments’.

I usually carve them in a local limestone such as  Portland, Ham or Bath stone.

The idea is for them to be sited at a point in a garden where they can be seen from the house, or, conversely, be sited at a partially hidden or

unexpected point in a garden so that they become seen unexpectedly, thus creating a surprise element and a topic of conversation.

Those I have made already can be seen here, but I intend to extend the range, either with my own ideas or following suggestions or requests

from other people – after all there’s always a bespoke choice to be made – the choice or word or phrase can be down to YOU!
